I just wanted to give a mention to green tea and green coffee as I am a big fan :-)
I personally highly recommend drinking a few cups of either green tea or coffee each day.
They are both full of beneficial antioxidants. Green coffee is a newer product just released by Nescafe.
Green tea has been around for a long time and comes in many flavour combinations. Green tea and Jasmine being one of my personal favourites closely followed by green tea with orange and lotus flower as well as green tea with lemon.
It is said that the majority of the population of China smoke tabacco products but the instances of smoking related deaths are by far lower than here in the UK or in the US. One factor which keeps cropping up is the fact that they drink green tea.
There is currently no actual evidence of this being the reason why the smoking realted deaths and illnesses are lower but it does keep cropping up as being a plausible explanation.
It is also well known that drinking green tea can have a positive effect on arthritis and many other medical conditions.
Just speaking from personal experience I can honestly say that drinking green tea has benefited me.
There was one point when everyone I knew had rotten colds. The cold was lasting for a couple of weeks and was really getting everyone down.
I caught the cold! I drank 3-4 cups of green tea aday and my cold cleared up within 3 days.
Coincidence? Maybe but a short time later one of my Brothers caught the cold too. He done the same as me and drank a few cups of green tea aday and guess what? Yep, his cold also cleared up within a few days.
My Mum has recently caught a rotten cold and she just couldn't seem to shift it.
She bought some Nescafe Green coffee, had 3 or 4 cups and by the next day not only had her cold gone but she felt generally healthy and bright.
Whatever the case, in my opinion it is worth giving it a go. You have nothing to loose and if it works for you-great. If not, no loss.
